I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

label: The original Witches Bane does not have particular defects and I can hardly see marks around the center hole.
cover: The cover  it's a front laminated with back unlaminated and it's in pretty good conditions . The front does have maybe 5 light lamination creases on the lamination plus about ten very short along the spine. This is quite normal on this type of cover so there's nothing to worry about. The back it's better but there is a small name wrote with a blue ink . I grade this cover VG+ for a strict record collector grading system. The insert doe include the lirycs and a design of the hermit, the same of the cover.
vinyl: The vinyl it's in very good conditions and I can see 2 mark on side one and 1 on side two. The 2 marks on side 1 are in the first track and intersect so there are some clicks but not repetitives so you can hear a couple of clicks then nothing for several seconds and then another time but sincerelly these are very light and you have to listen the track with a very severe ear because if you listen the track relaxed as he suggest you don't hear nothing so these are not disturbing... but are presents anyway, with the music well over but they exist, ok? I have hear also about 10 light clicks in the narration before the second track of side two. The principal problem of this lp it's the pressing and because this he does have a light background crackle that you can hear in the narration that it's before the music and you can hear also in the quieter moment. This is the problem of this lp, I had some copies in my hands and all does have this pressing problem. This problem can be valued as 1 or simetime 2 on a scale of 10 so you can hear very well the music but the static sound of the vinyl it's more present than the normal. Anyway or you accept this defect or nothing, at least as original vinyl press...because all the copies are so. I grade VG+ the vinyl especially for the clicks.
review: This  is an album where you may appreciate the more cultural branch of the british folk, this is a concept album on the life of Job Senior and for me it's beautiful but better than my words that are maybe considered "dealer words" I 've decided to offer you this review and some comment to this review that I have found in a nice blog called Time Has Told Me: "Its been a long time tracking this legendary recording down (thanks Pete!). Possibly one of the rarest UK folk gems from 1975, as rare as life itself?. Awesome electric violin and disturbingly haunting vocals tell the depressing story of a Yorkshire hermit named Job Senior. "Birth" sets the scene for what is a profoundly sad album that will leave you deep in thought every time you hear it. "Journeys" a fine piece of violin work runs into "Stone on Stone" which is almost Incredible String Band in vocal style. "A long Winter" tells of the latter stages of Job's life after his wife dies and he is living alone on the moors of Ilkley. "Who Knows" is a sorry lament as Job ends up living in the remains of his dead wifes house which has been pulled down by her family in an attempt to evict him. "The Outcast/Rebirth" ends the albums tragic story. Hear it and weep. "Lizardson,This album has been on my top 10 list to listen to for years! Thank you for tracking this one down for us!!
