Description
On offer here is a copy of Horizons by The Greatest Show On Earth, a first pressing released on the Harvest label in 1970, catalogue number SHVL 769.This is a genuine first press and does not have “EMI”on the label, please see the photo on this.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition with a little laminate lift in the top front corner preventing a higher grading, please see the photos to satisfy yourself re the condition.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition on Side One, Side Two has four light non penetrating marks therefore rated as Very Good Plus.
The non EMI labels are in Excellent condition with some light spindle marks to indicate any play.
The matrix numbers are SHVL 769 A-1 and B 2.
This copy comes with a Harvest prod or inner which is unsplit and in Excellent condition.
Early Original (non EMI) Harvest pressings are now difficult to find and are sought after, and this is one of the most difficult to find in any shape.
The record will be sent outside of its cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12” cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33 as used by Mail Order Record companies.
