About "Iron Flowers"... Grey DeLisle's 2007 album Iron Flowers was the final collection of music Grey recorded before taking an extended hiatus from music to concentrate on her new family and her highly successful career in voice work for animation, games and feature films. Recorded with members of Fairport Convention, Old 97s and Lone Justice, Iron Flowers still stands as an extraordinary document, and is regarded by many fans as their favorite of Delisle's albums for its songwriting, its thick 1960's/70's style of production and its unique cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Track Listing 1. "Bohemian Rhapsody" (3:43) 2. "Joanna" (4:25) 3. "Right Now" (3:33) 4. "Who Made You King?" (4:40) 5. "God's Got It" (2:48) 6. "The Bloody Bucket" (3:56) 7. "Iron Flowers" (3:59) 8. "Blueheart" (3:46) 9. "Sweet Little Bluebird" (3:20) 10. "Inside Texas" (5:10)
Personnel Grey DeLisle on vocals & autoharp, Murry Hammond of Old 97's on electric bass and harmonium, Sheldon Gomberg on upright bass, David Mattacks (Fairport Convention, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, etc.) on drums, and Marvin Etzioni (Lone Justice, Maria McKee) on mandolin.
