Description
Artist: Various Artists
Title: Grindcrusher - The Earache Sampler
Format: LP + Etched 7"
Record Label: Earache
Cat. No: MOSH 12 & 7 MOSH 12
Country of origin/Year of release: UK/1989
Sleeve condition: Excellent (still with carefully opened shrink wrap in place, unfortunately the wrap is a bit tight and the sleeve inside is wavy due to such. however, i think it may flatten out if wrap was removed. the tightness of the wrap has also caused a dent/crease within the wrap itself in bottom left corner that you can see in the front on and spine pictures. the top and bottom seams have no wear whatsoever and the spine other than the part at the bottom referred to above is in great shape)
Vinyl condition: Excellent (actually i have had it since new and i'm fairly certain it has never been played. the only reason that i am not saying mint is because i can see a small, circa 5mm, group, 2 or 3, of light marks/scratches on side 1 but as the record has probably never been played i am thinking it/they were there when i bought it new. many would probably not even have mentioned it)
Inner sleeve etc condition: 7" Etched single Excellent++ (un-played)
Other information: Only initial copies of Grindcrusher included the limited edition etched 7" single which was entered into the Guinness Book Of Records as the world's shortest single.
The music on the 7" is contained in a short groove at the edge of the record, and the rest of the vinyl is covered with the following etched writing:

I have a collection of literally thousands of 10", 12" & LP Punk/Post Punk/Indie/New Wave/Alternative/Industrial/Shoegazer/Garage Rock/Lo-Fi/Thrash/Space Rock/Electronic/Avant-Garde/Experimental/Reggae vinyl records. I am a private collector not a dealer and any items I sell will be from my personal collection. I will not be listing prolifically but will be doing so from time to time and often with some rare and collectable items. Please check my other auctions and keep an eye out for future listings.
Most auctions will start at £0.99 with no reserve and leave the selling price to be determined by those that want the item the most.
Every record I have ever acquired has been placed immediately into a brand new PVC cover to protect the outer sleeve and where applicable vinyl has been removed from inner picture sleeve and placed into a paper sleeve to protect both vinyl and inner sleeve. As such every record I have bought new remains basically 'as new' or as close to it as you are likely to get no matter how old it may be. However, I have not bought every record in the collection new and therefore where this applies my methods will have kept the item in the same condition as it was when I acquired it. I will to the best of my ability follow the grading system used by ‘Record Collector’ (see below) but I may add a + or – to a grading to help fine-tune the condition report. Please note that vinyl will be visually graded only. Furthermore, I will grade as strictly as I can whilst drawing a balance between honest appraisal and not wanting to put off a buyer by over analysing the item for sale. Condition is often a matter of personal judgement and just to say that I have often had an item sold to me as mint but I would not consider it as such. The age and rarity of an item may also tweak the grading.
Record Collector’s grading system
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint. ??
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. ??
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
??GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.??
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Terms & conditions
I describe every item for sale as accurately as possible and provide as much information as I can or that is deemed necessary for a particular sale. I welcome any questions prior to auction end and I will do my utmost to provide an accurate reply (due to other commitments I cannot guarantee a reply to any question sent within the last 12 hours of the auction).
Communication is the major factor with eBay, as we all want to avoid any possibility of a bad experience. Please make sure you ask any questions you have before auction ends and if you have any doubts then it is possibly better not to bid. Once the transaction is completed I will only accept an item to be returned if it can be proved that I have in some way mistakenly misrepresented it. In any such circumstances communication is again the key, as any problems can always be resolved. As with all auctions buyer remorse or change of mind is not an acceptable reason for return and would make it unfair on others who may have submitted bids.
Payment conditions & postage
UK buyers I accept PayPal. Alternative payment methods may be accepted but must be by prior agreement before auction closes.
International buyers I accept PayPal only. No exceptions.
Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end.
Postage costs will be added to the final bid price.
