Description

This is B&W 001, Griot Galaxy, Kins, the 1st original issue from this private label from Detroit in 1981. This free jazz session features Faruq Z. Bey, Anthony Holland, David McMurray, Jaribu Shahid, and Tani Tabbal. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of use. The labels are perfect. The cover has a small bump on the upper left but is also near mint.  This is a very strong copy of this wonderful, rare, collector's piece with no reserve.  The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders.
