Groundhogs - Blues Obituary - Liberty LBS 83253 - Blue label
Scarce original blue label issue of this 1969 album by the perennial Groundhogs. This album of progressive blues spotlihghts the "Rev T.S. McPhee" who lets rip throughout with ferocious guitar solos.
At this time the band were very much a blues band but were only a year away from issuing the brilliant progressive album "Thank Christ For the Bomb" (essential for prog-nuts!)
Tony McPhee is still touring and you should try to see him while you can.
The cover and disc are in beautiful condition and this is a good opportunity to pick up a copy of this rare album
