MOZART: THE 5 VIOLIN CONCERTOS
This beautiful 3LP box set – a superb collector’s copy – from Philips (6768 3365, Dutch pressing, red/white label, stereo, booklet included) features Arthur Grumiaux's peerless cycle of Mozart's complete Violin Concertos as well as the Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major K. 364 in which he is joined by violist Arrigo Pelliccia. The conductor and orchestra throughout are Sir Colin Davis and the London Symphony Orchestra, who provide vibrant and supremely eloquent accompaniment – these remain truly landmark performances.

GRADING

The box is in superb condition. The reason for downgrading is that the internal foam wadding has disintegrated. Surfaces are free from wear or indentations. Booklet is superb with no marks or discolouration.

Both visually and audibly all 3 records are in perfect condition.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
