Up for auction is a rare, genuine 1987 UK/European first pressing of Guns N' Roses' masterpiece, Appetite for Destruction. This copy features the original, controversial withdrawn Robert Williams artwork that was quickly pulled from shelves shortly after release.
Authenticity Identifiers for this copy:
Catalog Numbers: WX 125 (Spine/Labels) and 924 148-1.
Matrix / Runout: Stamped R/S Alsdorf 924148-1-A (Side G) and R/S Alsdorf 924148-1-B (Side R).
Embossed Details: Features the authentic raised Warner "W" logo on the bottom right of the back cover.
Labels: Correct GEMA/BIEM rights society and Side G / Side R designations.
Condition:
Jacket: Shows some honest age with minor corner wear and slight ring wear (see photos). No major splits or tears.
