Description

This is the debut studio album from Guns N’ Roses, released in 1987 by Geffen Records. It has the rare, original “robot rape” cover. This cover was pulled from the marketplace by Geffen after retail complaints. The album, which includes the hits “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” went on to sell 18 million copies in the U.S.—but most with a boring replacement cover. This LP is a promotional version, with Geffen’s “promotional use only” stamp embossed at lower left of the cover. There’s also a small language-warning sticker at bottom right. There’s a slight nick in the cover at top left and some corner wear at bottom right, but overall it is in very good condition and suitable for framing. The original inner sleeve is in good condition, with one edge slightly slit. The vinyl LP was rarely played and shows no signs of wear.
