Description

First uncensored pressing of Guns N' Roses second album, "G N' R Lies", released in 1988. Unopened in original shrink wrap, has small cut-out in spine, features hype sticker (see photos). Uncensored U.S. cover contains headline "Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years", VERY rare. Record acquired by a Brooklyn-based vintage shop that specializes in vinyl from a private collection. 
Grading Vinyl graded in-store conservatively and competitively: NM - A nearly perfect record, never played. Never assigned unless a record is sealed. (Open records that look unplayed are graded down to VG+) VG+ - Some signs that the record was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. May contain slight scuffs or light scratches that do not affect play. VG - Light surface noise upon play, but will not overpower the music. No skipping. G+ - Surface noise and groove wear will affect play and overpower the music in some sections. No skipping. G - Surface nose and groove wear will overpower the music in most sections. Record may contain skipping in some sections.

"G N' R Lies (also known as Lies) is the second studio album by American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, released on November 29, 1988 by Geffen Records. While officially an extended play, it was treated as a studio album when released. According to the RIAA, the album has shipped over five million copies in the United States. "Patience" was the only single released from Lies, and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
The cover is a humorous parody of tabloid newspapers, as are the liner notes. The album's cover art underwent several minor modifications when the title was released on CD. First, in the bottom left corner reading "LIES LIES LIES" originally read "Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years." Secondly, instead of "Elephant gives birth to midget", the original headline reads, "Ladies, welcome to the dark ages." Many copies of the original LP release also contained an uncensored picture of a nude model on the inner LP sleeve."
