Description
Guns N Roses Lies Vinyl LP. - second edition original pressing. Sleeve is Very Good Plus (VG+). Some glue on bottom right (see pictures). Inner original paper sleeve is wrinkled but intact.
“Original Cover Second edition with "censored" changed cover differs from first Guns N' Roses - G N' R Lies. Inner sleeve is matte paper, later editions glossy or clear plastic.
Both US first / second edition inner sleeves were censored with a black bar across nude. Cover reads "LIES! LIES! LIES!" (replacing first edition text "Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years") on lower left hand side, and right middle reads "Elephant gives birth to midget" (replacing first edition text "Ladies, welcome to the dark ages") in upper/middle right.
Both first/uncensored and second/censored cover editions were assembled from the same Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) platter pressing by Specialty Records Corporation. "E A S T" is embossed around the center hole.”
Vinyl LP for Lies is VG+. There is some light surface noise that does not interfere with playback. The original pressing from DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) sounds truly amazing. Play tested.

“This is the re-released version of "Appetite" with the cover the band originally wanted but the record company rejected. The cover illustration is by Robert Williams and can be found on the inside of the normal version (you know with the girl passed out with the robot and the monster jumping over the fence).”
Both records stored in protective sleeves vertically in a closed cabinet in a smoke free home. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
