Guns N' Roses -Use Your Illusion I 1st Edition US 1991 Promo Copy VG+ Vinyl RARE.
Hello out there. Selling this extremely rare gold stamp promo copy of the first edition of Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion I on vinyl. This was most likely sent to a DJ or record store here in the San Francisco Bay Area by the record company back in the day when it came out. This has all the markings of the first edition vinyl. It has the dashes in the barcode and it has an actual Parental Advisory sticker on it unlike the 2012 version. The catalog number is GEF-24415. The Matrix Runouts say:
Side A: GEF 24415-A-GL2 2-1 STERLING
Side B: GEF 24415-B-GL1 STERLING
Side C: GEF 24415-C-GL1 STERLING
Side D: GEF 24415-D-GL1 STERLING
The word STERLING is stamped and everything else is etched.
The vinyl itself is in Very Good Plus condition. There are a couple visible scratches on Sides B, C, and D. They aren’t deep though and I’ve tested the record. I didn’t even hear any noticeable pops or crackles when played.
The outer sleeve is in Very Good condition being a little conservative. It’s all together well but it’s old so there’s some corner wear, ring wear, and a stain in the bottom left corner.
The inner sleeves are in great shape and would say they’re in Very Good Plus condition.
There’s no splitting or rips but it has some tiny crease marks at the very top opening since they’re off set to see the record poking slightly out the sleeves from one side. It was made that way. It comes in a plastic covering to keep it safe.
