BACKGROUND:

Hi and thanks for having a look. I'm emigrating at some point soon so I'm starting to have a proper and serious clear-out - which means me having to overcome my 'klepto' instincts and even wave goodbye to some of my 'precious' treasures.  Listings start at 99p so there are potential bargains to be had by all and sundry – but rather they go to somebody who wants them for very little cost than end up in the bin or a charity shop under junk…. Good luck!

And as much as i hate doing this, it's time for me to get the ball rolling in terms of my over-sized record, comic & whisky collections!!!!

Shipping:

If you win more than one item I will combine for the cheapest delivery. For instance My Hermes actually have the same cost for various quite wide weight ranges, say 1-3, 3-5 or 5-10 KG so you could have quite a few things for a fixed cost. If you don't want to pay P&P you are more than welcome to pick the item up yourself. For anywhere else then the appropriate costs will be charged.... contact me for an accurate quote or bid on the item and wait for me to invoice you....up to you really!

A note about P&P charges:

Not being a professional Ebay trader I am as upfront, accurate AND FAIR as I can be with Postage & Packing charges, hence I never intentionally profiteer but please bear in mind a few things.... Firstly, I weigh an item and check the price online, then estimate what package it will go in, which adds to the weight and can potentially push prices up a little. As most of the things I'm selling are varied, the packing is just as varied too and the only way of being 100% accurate with P&P costs is to actually pack every item, then to measure it's dimensions and then go online and price check with Royal Mail, Parcelforce, My Hermes, etc... This approach is not exactly practical as you could spend a long time packing things that don't sell and you're wasting a lot of time & packing materials, so yes, P&P charges are as accurate as I can get for an estimate and are not a profit-making exercise. Also, I think it's very important for some to note that the words are POSTAGE and PACKING, i.e. not simply paying for what it says on a stamp or label but also for the materials and time it requires to get an item packaged properly. And lastly, when you bid on an item on Ebay you are told BEFORE YOU BID exactly how much you are expected to cough up, so it's hardly a nasty after-shock is it?? Sorry if this sounds like a bit of a rant but there are some people who seem to think P&P should be free or at least exactly the price on a sticky stamp and not a penny more - to those people I say why not go to a car boot sale at 8am on a Sunday morning next time you want things handed to you for no handling charge? The rest of us realise P&P is part and parcel (pun intended!) of buying things online....
