Description

This Gustav Mahler Symphony No. 9 vinyl LP is a rare gem for classical music lovers. With a speed of 33 RPM, this record features the iconic conductor Gustav Mahler, and is a reissue of the original 1964 release by HMV in the UK. The 12-inch three-sided black vinyl LP comes in a cardboard sleeve, and has an excellent (EX) record grading.


In addition, the inlay condition and sleeve grading are both very good plus (VG+). The vinyl LP is adorned with original cover and inner sleeve, adding to the overall value of this collector's item. This classic piece of music history is a must-have for any vinyl record enthusiast.


This is still a very early first edition reissue although I have been unable to determine the exact date.


The first pressing of this record had yellow title writing on one of the sleeves and orange on the other, it also featured semi circular HMV labels where’s this edition has orange writing on both sleeves and square HMV labels.


First press sells for around £500
