Gustav Mahler THE NINE 9 SYMPHONIES Georg Solti 15 LPs 1967 DECCA SOLT 1-15
Rare box set of 15 discs.
Discs : I’m not a record expert, but to me many look unplayed or some maybe played once. I have played test small sections of a few and they sound like new to me. You can see that the sleeves all look like new too. However my record player is unsophisticated and I have only briefly play tested a few, but I’m sure they can be regarded as Excellent for 50+ year old records. I will give a money back guarantee if you find any faults that seriously detract from your enjoyment of these records. (Money back guarantee for U.K. buyers only… I’m sorry but returns from overseas buyers are not possible, you will have to accept it as “sold as seen”).
Box: Generally in very good condition except that at some point there has been a spill or something over the box. Some of the covering has lifted a little on the back, and there is a stain inside. The spine has a 3cm split at the bottom by the front cover, and 1cm at the top. Please see all the photos.
The booklet is in excellent physical condition. Cosmetically it has a personal dedication on the front when it was first given as a present when new. It has also picked up a bit of the stain from the water damage to the box and retains a faint mustiness of aged paper. One of the record sleeves that was next to the booklet also picked up a little of the stain, but the plastic inner protected the record and there is no impact to the record.
So overall a little damage to the box and booklet, but the important part, the 15 records, are in superb condition. I have tried to accurately and fairly describe any faults. Please see all the photos. Please ask me any questions you have.
