You are bidding on a out of print,  original US black vinyl pressing copy of the Gwar - Hell-o LP released by Shimmy Disc Records in 1988.  This is SHIMMY 010. This record came out of the collection of a central Texas music fan, known to many musicians/fellow music lovers, who tragically lost his life late last year. He frequently attended concerts and shows here in central Texas and elsewhere. He enjoyed meeting musicians and liked to get their autographs, such as this record.  It has been signed by  seven members of the group (using their pseudonyms in character of course)!   One of the  signatures can be found on the front of the jacket, and all the others are on the back (see picture). Two of the signatures are signed in brown marker, and the rest have been signed in black pen. The record is in VG condition visually with a couple of surface scuffs on side A but sounds like a VG+ copy and plays fine. The record labels are in NM condition. The record jacket is in VG condition with some shelfwear and edgewear. There is a 3 inch crease that starts at the top seam of the jacket on the front. There are also a few light creases (all of which are an  inch or less) along the spine of the jacket. This copy has the original lyrics sheet insert, which is in VG+ condition. It even has the original Shimmy Disc catalog insert, which is also in VG+ condition. We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:

Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!

Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.

Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.

Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches.  generally still a great playing copy.  jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.

Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.

Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches.  jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
