Welcome all buyers! We here at digging4gold are finally getting around to selling off some of the many African pieces we’ve come across in the last year or so. In addition, we’ll be posting a slew of funky LPs and 45s. We are not professional sellers – collectors more than anything else – but have, nevertheless, graded conservatively in accordance to Goldmine grading standards as to not mislead. In the case of African records, some sellers tend to grade more leniently. We decided to let the sound clips, when provided, speak for themselves. Good luck!
Gyedu-Blay Ambolley is best known for his classic, "Simigwado" and Simgwa full-length as well as his work with Ebo Taylor as the lead singer for the Apagya Show Band. Always a soul man, he went on to produce more boogie-esque goodness a few years later, culminating into this hard-to-find early 8os LP. The cover is in great shape, but has been graded down due to small tears on the back. The vinyl is a strong VG, with "Burkina Faso" playing great. Check out the clip:
