Tchaikovsky - Piano Concerto No. 1
(HMV ASD 315 UK LP 1959)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which has a large sized "Stereo" on the front. It has its original polythene-lined company "Emitex" inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has white & gold HMV labels. These are grooved also. It has 1st press 2YEA 192-5 and 2YEA 193-10 matrix stampers. This is quite a rare UK Stereo Classical LP. This is a genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is a 1.5 cm area of rubbing wear to the centre of the top edge. There is some mild to more moderate fading on the rear. VG+ condition
Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is one very light 2 cm hairline mark. The polythene inner sleeve has left some mild marks on the dead wax area only. VG+ condition. There is a very tiny mark on Side 2's label. Otherwise, the labels are in near excellent condition & show light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall, & even Excellent in some places. There is some light or very light crackle in some quieter places.
