Description
HAENDEL / SIBELIUS / BERGLUND / BSO - " VIOLIN CONCERTO / TWO SERENADES / HUMORESKE ", HMV/EMI Records Ltd. (ASD 3199) Stereo, 1976.
Very rare English 1st issue LP with original black "Postage Stamp" logo on red label - see photo.
English issue and pressing.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve (the original inner sleeve has also been retained and included in the auction - see photo)
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No deep scratches, no groove damage, no distortion, only light spindle trails, etc. In normal daylight the vinyl appears perfectly clean, under a bright grading lamp I can make out a couple of very light paper scuffs and one extremel superficial mark - although these are purely visual and during playback, none of these very slight superficial flaws correspond directly to any audible defects.
On playback, there is some faint surface noise during the silent run-in (in the pressing) which disappears as soon as the music starts. It plays really well - strong, clean and without interuptions.
Not quite an untouched museum piece, but a good honest excellent copy for someone out there to play and enjoy as it was originally intended.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = EX- (No big creases, defacing, rips, tears, etc. Not ruined by any means, but does suffer some light creasing in the laminate along the spine where it has been handled, plus some general wear to the edges and corners - see photos for further clarification)

Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records.
