INFORMATION:
Hal McKusick "Triple Exposure"
1957 Prestige Records. Catalog # PRLP-7135.
VERY obscure original pressing of this classic jazz LP. Features Hal McKusick on alto sax, tenor sax & clarinet, Billy Byers on trombone, Eddie Costa on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Charlie Persip on drums. Recorded by the legendary Rudy Van Gelder.
Guaranteed original pressing. All appropriate etchings in run-out. Has the catalog number, RVG etching, and 8 J etched in both sides dead wax. Prestige Records 50th St. NYC address on labels. Thick vinyl and heavy stock cover with glossy film over front image.
Vinyl and cover both in a strong VG+++++++ condition. Has a few light visible surface marks. Nothing deep into the grooves, or anything you can feel with a fingernail. Extremely shiny wax and taken very well care of. Jacket has no ringwear, and minimal fading. No splits or tears along edges, but corners bumped very slightly. Nothing major at all. A small crease mark (about 1 1/2" long) at the lower front right corner where it may have been partially bent once. Tiny spot of paper torn on back upper right corner next to stock #. Possibly a price tag or something was there previously. The word JAZZ stamped small in purple ink on back (see images below for the rear cover photo).
