HAL STEIN / WARREN FITZGERALD LP.  On PROGRESSIVE Records, PLP 1002.  Extremely rare 1955 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the classic bright red-on-white labels with black lettering.  Heavy vinyl, thick laminated cardboard jacket.  The personnel:  Hal Stein/alto & tenor sax; Warren Fitzgerald/trumpet; Bob Dorough/piano; Alphonso Cotton/bass; Paul Motian/drums.  The vinyl is in mostly phenomenal M- condition (beautiful sheen) and plays great.  Gorgeous!!  There is a very tiny mark on side B, track 3 that is audible for just a few revolutions.  The thick cardboard cover is in VG+ shape, displays nicely.  There is a faint tape stain along three edges.  Tiny white paint mark at top left corner on front.  Small # ink stamp on back at top center & right corner.  Some very light moisture staining at bottom on back.  "Sample" ink stamp on back of jacket and on labels.  NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  The Sarong Is New; Zounds; Have You Heard (The Latest Blues In Town); Medley: You Go To My Head/Goodbye; Choice Derby; Nan De Mo Nai; Do You Really Care?; Twonky.
