HIGHLY OBSCURE British five piece progressive rock band. Vocalist Mick Whittaker is a dead ringer for Roger Chapman whilst the music encompasses hard rock, progressive rock, psych and raw blues all with a lovely rustic vibe. Think Family, Gypsy, Cochise, Bronco and Hookfoot for similar sounding examples. Really, one of the best 'undiscovered' rural prog albums out there.

The album cover is mind blowing - a complex gimmix afair partly designed by Rodney Matthews that is always found trashed - this one is perfect.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: United Artists, UK, 1975

Vinyl: Beautiful virtually unplayed condition. No spindle marks and virtually no signs of use. Grades as MINT!

Cover: No visible signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed (by Rodney Matthews) Gimmix gatefold cover. This is one of the most elaborate sleeve designs of any early seventies progressive rock bands - essentially one side of the gatefold is a diecut 12" record that 'flips' onto a record deck. I've only seen a handful; of these albums in my entire years of collecting and ALL of them have been damaged beyond repair but this one is perfect! Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Impossible to find like this after 41 years. Grades as MINT-!
