Description

This sale is for the official Vinyl soundtrack of the original Halloween motion picture. The music is by John Carpenter. The LP is on Varese Sarabande records and was released in 1983.

I have played the record thru on both sides and it plays fine. There is a little record noise in places but it’s not bad enough to distract from the music. A good cleaning would clear most of that up. There are a few light blemishes on the LP, but no deep scratches or anything that impacts play. There wasn’t any issues at all when I played it.

I am not a professional record dealer, I am just describing the album based on my playing it on my stereo system. It is a used record and is not in mint shape. I am selling it as a used record as is,with no grading guarantees. As I previously said, it was played thru once by me and sounded fine to my ears. I do believe It will be enjoyed by the listener.

The jacket is also not mint but is in good shape. It has a few visible imperfections but no major rips, tears, mold or water damage. It wasn’t stored in plastic but it is in pretty good shape for being 38 years old!! The number on the LP and jacket is STV-81176.

This is not an easy LP to find and I know it’s quite collectible. It is a must have for devoted fans of the Halloween franchise and those that collect memorabilia of the movie and the horror genre. This will make a great addition to someone’s collection.
