HANCOCK'S HALF HOUR
SERIES 6
Excellent condition
Hancock's Half Hour was one of the most successful series ever made, and it created an international star. With his impeccable timing and brilliantly subtle shifts in intonation, Tony Hancock could create sound pictures that bore the unmistakable hallmark of a genius. The BBC broadcast eighty hours of Hancock on radio and television between 1954 and 1961.
The BBC Radio Collection has published, in chronological order, all 74 surviving radio shows from the BBC Archives. Series 6 was broadcast between September and December 1959 and the accompanying 16 page booklet contains synopses for all fourteen episodes, contemporary press extracts and photographs, biographies of the cast and a foreword from Ray Galton and Alan Simpson.
This is the sixth and last in the series of deluxe box sets and all fourteen shows from Series 6 and a further six bonus instalments are published here on ten CDs.
