WHAT YOU GET -
UK 7" Single
CONDITION -
The vinyl is in near mint condition. The sleeve is pretty good but has some ringwear.
DESCRIPTION -
This is the original Rough Trade (RT131) release of The Smiths' debut single. Rare and collectable, seldom found in such fine condition. The sleeve has the London Collier Street address on the back and 'Kiss my Shades' etched in the run-off groove of the vinyl.
Morrissey, about his favourite song: "For me it has to be 'Hand In Glove', the first single. Mainly because of the circumstances in which it was recorded. The remix on the first album I'm not quite too sure about but the actual single was such a joyous occasion for everybody that it still means more to me - and other members of the Smiths - than anything else we've done."
