Vinyl LP pressing. 2003 release, the sixth studio album from the Alt-Country/Americana outfit. The Handsome Family were formed in 1993 by husband and wife duo Brett Sparks and Rennie Sparks. The band, born and bred in Chicago before migrating to Albuquerque, play a unique blend of traditional Country, Bluegrass, and murder ballads. Rennie's lyrics have a strong storytelling component, drawing on themes from Gothic fiction, as well as American folk music, and often involving macabre subjects as murders, suicides and ghosts. The album features musical assistance from Darrel Sparks, Greg Hansen, David McChensey, Tony Watkins and Dave Gutierrez.

Vinyl Records and their Sleeves are very easily damaged in the post, with our 10 years experience we take great care when packaging vinyl records, by opening and removing the inner sleeve (without touching the record) to try and avoid any problems.

***Although, if you would rather we did not carefully open one side of the PVC sleeve (if supplied), please call us once the order has been placed, we cannot accept any responsibility for spine damage to the sleeve in transit if the record is not removed***
