hello....you are bidding on a first pressing of the hank mobley blue note LP,catalog # 1550...a famous LP with outstanding sidemen art farmer,horace silver,doug watkins,and art blakey...label is double sided deep groove,and this is a rare early FLAT EDGE copy!..label says blue note records  47 w.63rd  new york 23...it has no "r", has the rvg and ear in the play out groove....this copy is very nice,strong VG+ with only slight light sleeve wear and light hairline marks in a few spots,but nothing drastic...no significant marks or feelable scratches....the jacket is VG,with nice sharp graphics...high gloss clear tape as reinforcement is around all edges,extraordinarily cleanly done,the neatest ive ever seen...the fact that high gloss tape is used matches the glossy laminate so it looks very nice,an elegant job by the previous owner...laminate is intact and glossy,with light shelf wear.....back side is VG also,with a little age related wear,and slight discoloring around the edges(see pic)..labels are clean as well....overall,not perfect,yet a very nice,presentable copy of this sought after rarity...i am a jazz pianist and recording artist,and all the records from my personal collection have been lovingly cared for...no disappointments...good luck bidding!...a note to my buyers: i do not over describe my records...they are conservatively graded...unless specifically stated,these records are not absolutely perfect(MINT or in UNPLAYED condition)...they are usually VG+ to VG++ condition,so there probably will be occasional slight surface noise as with most 50 year old records...there are no major feelable scratches on any of these records...however,please do not expect something unrealistic...the records are all very desirable,very rare,and very collectable,and have been a source of joy and pride for me,as a discerning collector, for many years...if you are extremely persnickety,and only want stone mint LPs,please dont bid!...all items are guaranteed to be as described....items can be returned (at purchaser's expense) if not completely satisfied.
