Description
Here is a original HANK MOBLEY BLUE NOTE LP MONO 1568. It is in heavy vinyl with the double sided deep groove, and with the “Ear” and RVG in the dead wax on both sides. The record I would rate as VG - Vg+ as it has some minor surface scuffs, a couple of small scratches from dropping the needle (which you can hear in playing) and one tiny spot of smudge at the beginning of FALLING IN LOVE WITH LOVE (I’m sure if properly cleaned this would remove it). No skips. The cover appears to be in VG as it shows corner wear a 1 1/4 inch split on left edge side of cover in the middle, some aging spots. The back cover shows some aging and wear. This is a rare album as there were only 500 made. Hank Mobley with Bill Hardman, Curtis Porter, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. The address on bottom back of cover is: 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The address on both sides of the record label is 47 West 63rd NYC.
