HANK MOBLEY QUARTET Blue Note BLP 5006 The Definitive 45 RPM 2X 180G LP Series from Music Matters - Released 2011 OOP EX+ - Numbered!
This exclusive series all came in loose out bags with a blue sticker hyping mastering by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray. The first 1000 copies of each title were numbered with a silver sticker on the back cover. The remaining 1500 were unnumbered. All titles are placed in very heavy Stoughton pressed tip-on gatefold sleeves. This is # 513 of the first 1000. Some of the highest quality Blue Note reissues you can find. 100% analog cuts by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI. The heavy gatefold jackets are almost like hardback books. Very cool reissue...
I've owned this for a little over a year and have not played it. The loose poly bag was opened when I acquired it. It has not seen much play. See pics... a few very minor sleeve scuffs is all I could see. When it was played, it was handled with extreme TLC. Labels are clean and the extra heavy gatefold jacket is perfect. E+ to NM (jacket). No reserve.
