This is the “VAN GELDER” stamped pressing of HANK MOBLEY’s “Reach Out!” on the “Liberty” labels of Blue Note BST 84288. Musicians include Hank Mobley, Woody Shaw, LaMont Johnson, George Benson, Bob Cranshaw, Billy Higgins.
VINYL plays beautifully, quietly, with occasional pops and ticks. Plays very nicely overall. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. Very good gloss. A few long marks, none feelable. The “Liberty” labels are clean. Original inner sleeve included. See photos.
GATEFOLD COVER is in Good shape. Minor ringwear. Corners worn. Promo indentation top right corner. Seams and spine very good shape. Top seam, one side of gatefold, taped. See photos. Back jacket is clean, with minor ringwear. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
