HANK MOBLEY SEXTET - HANK BLP 1560 Blue Note Jazz LP RVG Donald Byrd HEAR.
Original pressing of Hank Mobley - BLP 1560 “Hank”
47 West 63rd NYC labels, deep grooves, RVG, ear, 9M in deadwax
Record is in G+ (Good+) condition with scuffs, and scattered feelable marks.
Plays well with sporadic low-volume crackle under the music. No skips. Surface noise is most noticeable during quiet passages and songs (namely, “Time After Time”). Very enjoyable listen overall.
Cover is VG, in solid structural shape with signs of splitting on spine. No splitting on top or bottom seams. Front cover has age discoloration and some laminate peeling; back has some spotting/stains. Cover also has a light bow to it, typical of Blue Notes of this period.
