HANK MOBLEY’S MESSAGE – PRESTIGE 7661 – DISMAKERS TEST PRESSING – M-/M- - VAN GELDER - STEREO

Recorded originally on July 20, 1956, this Rudy Van Gelder session features Hank Mobley on tenor, Donald Byrd on trumpet, Jackie McLean on alto, Barry Harris on piano, Doug Watkins on bass and Art Taylor on drums. SIDE A: BOUNCING WITH BUD; 52ND STREET THEME and MINOR DISTURBANCE. SIDEB: AU PRIVAVE, LITTLE GIRL BLUE and ALTERNATING CURRENT. Remastered for stereo, this Diskmakers Test Pressing has “VAN GELDER” stamped on both sides of the blank vinyl. This is a STEREO recording.

I’ve graded both the LP and the record jacket M- for the following reasons. The vinyl on the LP is completely clean of any marks. The spindle hole has no sign of marks or any wear.
