Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This highly collectible boxed set of four 10" 78 RPM records by Hank Williams is on the original , yellow MGM Label, and is entitled simply "Memorial Album", from 1953. I have another very similar Hank Williams boxed set listed in this week's auction as well. But, this particular 78 RPM set features 8 classic Hank Williams songs on four 10" singles in a box set, and even includes the original, and pretty attractive, MGM inner sleeves. In my opinion, the condition of everything here is really, really nice, but please view the pics below, read about the condition, and judge for yourself;
LABEL INFO: As mentioned above the 78 RPM record labels are on the original, yellow colored, MGM Label, 202, and is in excellent condition;
VINYL INFO: All four records in the set are in extremely nice condition---espiecally for their age and for what they are---78's. Except for a few very light surface and/or /paper lines, I really can find nothing negative about the vinyl at all;
JACKET INFO: Finally, this boxed cover is also in truly nice condition, and again leaves me with virtually nothing negative to report, except perhaps for some very small "wear" dots/spots on the front side only. But, in my opinion, this is really nothing serious at all, and otherwise, it appears to be very, very nice. But again, please check out the pictures below and judge for yourself.
INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this particular Hank Williams boxed set of 10" singles out there anymore, espiecally in this kind of outstanding condition, so please have at it. I also list LP's and 45's by other collectible artists (although primarily from R'n'R) in this week's auctions as well. I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many LPs and 45's to get to yet---from all the genders of music. Many of these are rare and hard to find anymore, and most all of them are near mint. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
