HAPPY MONDAYS LP SQUIRREL & G-MAN... (Factory Records FACT 170) Released 1987.

Great shape throughout. First UK pressing from 1987 with startling clear plastic outer sleeve with crazy embossed print stamped in black. This first pressing of only 1000 copies contains the song "Desmond" which was removed from later pressings because it contains unauthorized samples of Beatles - Lennon/McCartney singing!

The complete title is "Squirrel & G-Man 24 Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)." Produced by John Cale. Recorded at The Firehouse in London. Shaun Ryder on vocals. The album has been stored by the owner in its heavy-duty outer sleeve since purchase, which has maintained its excellent condition. Artful custom-designed label. From the same label & Manchester scene that spawned Joy Division & New Order. Disc surface gives off a very nice reflective sheen. "Townhouse" is etched in dead wax along with a secret message which the winning bidder will be excited to uncover! (Matrix #:"FACT 170 A1/B1   MPO").
