HAPSHASH AND THE COLOURED COAT Western Flier
1969/Cdn/Imperial LP-12430….. here’s a clean original Canadian pressing of their 2nd lp. The cover is in strong solid VG++ condition, small delete hole lower left corner, light corner bumps, very slight aging along left side, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no, writing, splits, or other issues! The vinyl is in M- like new condition. This pressing is gorgeous and the labels are clean with no wear or spindle marks! A great copy of this rare lp for your collection! The talents of Groundhogs guitarist T.S. McPhee and songwriter Mike Batt can be heard on this 'strange' LP, the second and final release from Hapshash. The ultra rare 'Colinda' single is included amongst the 10 featured tracks. Contrary to the first album, which mainly consisted of free music, lyric poetry, Gregorean chants and Andalusian/oriental folk music, Western Flier was a crazy, high-spirited collection of old, well known folk-rock and blues material, spiced with all such currently used, individually distorted studio effects such as fuzz, feedback, phasing, etc.

MINT: as stated with no defects
M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean
EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much
VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
