Description

Artist: Hard Travellin

Title: Hard Travellin

Details: - This is part of my Personal Private Press Folk/Psych/Prog Collection which I have spent many years acquiring - all are Originals!! No reissues/Replicas etc, I acquired them many years ago and only purchased the genuine copies, most of them have a very limited pressing (being private pressings) and range from 99 copies to just a few hundred, You will not see some of these come up for sale again for a very long time, if at all!!!

On offer here is the Incredibly rare UK Album by Hard Travellin called "Hard Travellin" on `Flams` label (who also issued  `Mirkwood`) - Run out/Matrix side 1 P1065 A/ side 2 P1065 B

Rarity:- Ultra rare privately pressed folk/psych gem from 1971. ‘Tapestry of Delights’ & UK `Record Collector` magazine confirm that Just 99 copies were pressed of this Incredible String Band-influenced effort”

Music: ..a thoroughly enjoyable LP that effectively alternates between traditional acoustic folk material and folk-psych whimsy in the manner of the Incredible String Band ( ‘Geordie’, ‘Once I Had A Sweetheart’ and ‘When Morning Breaks’) & Dr Strangely Strange with such excellent cuts as ‘Children Of The Summer Sun’, ‘Seven Golden Daffodils’ and the bizarre seven-minute closer ‘Bavarian Masterpiece’ which could have come straight off `Kip of the Serenes`!

Label: Flams Ltd

Catalogue No: PR 1065

Year: 1971

Country: UK

Vinyl: (M-) Incredibly `Thick` Vinyl Looks `As New!!`- even under Bright Halogen Spotlights I can only see the lightest of sleeve removal marks - Top copy. Plays as New   Sleeve: (EX++/NM) Great copy of this delicate Thin Card sleeve, this copy has been stored properly from day one, no fading or bad ringwear, still has sharp opening, being white it has some light browning/ageing to edges - contains the traditional signature & message from band member Paul Sherman(see photos for full overview) a great find for this sleeve!!!   Labels: Clean Labels - just a couple of visible spindle line each side shows this as almost unplayed!   Post/Packing: UK - £5.50, Europe - £7.50, World £11.50 * buy multiple items and save on postage

I use professionally made box packers (not thin mailers) with added card stiffeners & bubble wrap, I always remove the record from the album cover for storage and for packing!! I always send my records out this way so that they arrive with the customer as they left me, my postage charges reflect this care, please dont bid if you object to these.

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I don't cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
