Description
Scarce, excellent vintage soul jazz beats LP featuring George Benson and Willis Jackson, introducing Ann Winley. Title is HARLEM UNDERGROUND on the PAUL WINLEY label. This is an original first pressing from 1976. (This album was subsequently reissued under the title Erotic Moods with a blue cover). Stereo pressing, catalog number is LP 127. Label is orange/black with black print.
Contains the awesome track “SMOKIN’ CHEEBA-CHEEBA” written by Paul and Ann Winley, which Tone Loc sampled in 1989 for his own “Cheeba Cheeba.”
Jacket is in rough but presentable condition due to poor storage conditions, with considerable shelf wear, splits along top and bottom seams, ring wear and edge wear.
Vinyl is EX+ with full brilliant gloss, a couple very small, slight surface marks (not audible), appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.
