HARMONIUM  Les Cinq Saisons  VINYL LP ALBUM on CELEBRATION  CEL -1900   from 1975  Canadian Pressing 

The Second album from  Montreal  progressive folk  group Harmonium,  

Its full title is "Si On Avait Besoin D'Une Cinquieme Saison  " ( if we nedded a fith season)  with great cover art gatefold sleeve  illustrated by Louis-Pierre Bougie.  Recorded in 1974

complete with inner lyric insert .

This is a very fine pastoral progressive album  that reminds me of  early Genesis /Fantasy and Camel's Snow goose  album in particular  - sung in French with swathes of Mellotron flute acoustic guitars etc

My French is a little approximate t but  I assume this is a sort of Concept LP based on the seasons - It is particularly unusual as the five piece band do not use a drummer 

and the vocals are very melodic and blend to great effect . 

The Last track Histoires Sans Paroles is a 17 minute epic with guest vocals from Judy Richard - For me, a stand out track moving into Debussy like Classical reveries.

In a striking  illustrated gate fold sleeve . A great package and a very fine album.
