HAROLD LAND--THE FOX--ORIGINAL 1960 HIFIJAZZ PRESSING--RARE STAMPED PROMO COPY!
This is the original pressing on the rare Hifijazz label, not the Contemporary reissued version! The album has been play-graded VG++ and the cover would be VG+ if not for a paper-thin piece somehow missing from the back cover (please see photo). So, I'll grade the cover VG. At any rate, the seams and spine are nice and tight.
This is a RARE promo copy. NOT FOR SALE, DEMONSTRATION ONLY and PROPERTY OF MANUFACTURER are stamped in red on the back cover and on both labels (I'm only showing Side 2 here, Side 1 has even more red stamps on it). This is a superb album and especially impressive is trumpeter Dupree Bolton, who sounds like the second coming of Clifford Brown throughout. Wow!
