Record comes housed in the original RCA-company sleeve.

Of course, "The Hipster" recently appeared on Gilles Peterson Impressed 2 compilation of the best British jazz and fusion music from the late 60s and early 70s. This is what Gilles says about it in the sleeve notes:
"A long-time club classic and highly prized collectors' piece, it's been the soundtrack to many a sweat drenched night. It's easy to hear why. More infectious than a cold sore at a kissing convention .... the track is a swinging invitation to dance. McNair's rasping flute, Carr's fizzing drum work, Le Sage's metronomic piano and Heatley's pliant bass work provide a solid spring floor to any bopper to wear out shoe leather. Employing the talking flute method perfected by Roland Kirk, McNair demonstartes that we in the UK had some funky licks of our own."

Most of these singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.
THIS COPY STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK WITH FULL LUSTRE OF SHINY WAX!
Ths single is strictly graded at mint- and is believed to be unplayed - brilliant (except for minimal "dust of time" on the surface)!
There´s a reasonable reserve on this incredible rare piece of music!
