GEORGE HARRISON/DYLAN/SHANKAR-CONCERT FOR BANGLA DESH ORIGINAL VINYL 3LP BOX SET. (APPLE STCX 3385)
Recorded live over two performances at Madison Square Garden, New York on 1st August 1971.
The concerts resulted from a request by Ravi Shankar to George to assist him in organising a relief concert to raise funds for UNICEF. In very short time, George got together a star-studded cast including Ringo, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, and Bob Dylan !
George had invited John, Paul and Ringo. Paul declined, saying that the time wasn't right for a Beatles reunion, Ringo joined him and John initially agreed to perform, until he realised that Yoko was not part of the invitation to perform!
The three albums are housed in a dark orange coloured box, in gold coloured inner sleeves. There is also a 64 page booklet, including photos taken at the concert.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition across all six sides. Some surface marks and hairlines on all. All the labels are Excellent with just minimal spindle marks.
The Outer box is in Excellent condition. The fragile lid is in great condition, splits to two corners and some handling marks. The bottom half of the box is very clean, just one small scuff to the bottom edge. The spine is very clean and readable. Inside the box is very clean. No writing, scuff or tears. A lovely example.
The Gold coloured Inner sleeves are in Excellent condition. All have just light creasing, one has two small edge splits and one has a small tear to centre hole.
The booklet is in Excellent condition. Intact and stapled, very clean just some scuffing to the spine and some handling marks and very light creases here and there.
This is a lovely copy of a classic George Album, which is now highly collectable.

I have been a Beatles fan since the day I sat down in 1973 to listen to the ‘Blue Album’. As a young lad this was the first time I had consciously listened to the band. From the first few bars of Strawberry Fields Forever, I was hooked. So it is with a very heavy heart that I now have to sell my vinyl collection! I have been selling a number of items recently but now need to let the vinyl go. I am not a dealer, so please accept my gradings as being as honest as I can make them without a professional background or equipment. Unless stated the gradings are visual, as I just don’t have the time to play grade everything.
Records will be removed from their original sleeve and dispatched in a plain white sleeve. All items will be placed in a protective clear sleeve and dispatched in a card mailer.
I always obtain a proof of posting from Post Office.
PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE
To ensure all items are traceable when sending overseas, I will use a courier as Royal Mail services are even more expensive. Ebay/Paypal insist that they will only credit or believe the items have been sent, when the seller can provide a tracking number. So that is how I will send all my Beatles items outside the UK. This may make my postage charges a little higher than some other sellers but it provides peace of mind to myself and the buyer.

If you are unhappy with an item, I am happy to offer a full refund (inc. P&P) on return of the item. Items must be returned within 12 Days of receipt and in the same condition they were sent out. Return postage must be paid by buyer.
