Description
This is the first LP released by the genius, Harry Partch. It's an amazing record, especially for its time. It is from 1953, and it was pressed by the Gate 5 Ensemble on green vinylite. The condition of the cover is G+. There are no seam splits, but there is some rubbing on the cover, as you can see in the photo. There is no writing on the cover. There is a very small damp stain on the rear cover. The vinyl is VG-. There are some small marks and hairlines on both sides, but they're mostly inaudible; the record sounds pretty darn good to me when I play it on my REGA turntable. It was a little dusty when I bought it, and it had one mild skip on side two. I have since wiped it off thoroughly, and it no longer skips. There is some surface noise, but nothing that really detracts from the listening experience. In other words, this record was used, but appears to have been respected and very well-cared for over the last fifty-two years.
I accept money orders, well-concealed cash, and personal or cashiers checks. Shipping will be $3.50 media mail or $5.00 priority.
Thanks, and good luck.
