Description
This is an auction for a very rare LP, Harsh Reality, Heaven And Hell.
This was released by Philips Records in 1969 and has catalogue number SBL7891. This is stereo. Please check the pictures for clarification.
Matrix: 844 239 1Y 844 239 2Y
Condition: The gatefold sleeve has a tear, approx 2 inch, running in from the mouth on the reverse side and a smaller tear running in from the mouth on the bottom front side. There are also a number of buff marks running down the spine with an adjacent small edge crease. Also with buffing to the bottom edge and corners, lamination creases seen under close examination and lastly a few very light dirt marks seen on the centre. Please check the pictures for clarification on condition, probably not as bad as the description may point to.
This comes with its original 'patent' inner sleeve which has a pen mark and a little edge yellowing.
Now for the good news:
Both labels look clean and new, under closer examination a few spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole does have a mere touch of wear. Please check the pics, fine labels.
The vinyl retains its brand new shine and looks immaculate in normal light. Under the closest of examinations two feather scratches and a few light dirt/finger marks can be seen. There is a curious mark on track four of side one that looks like a very faint stain. As stated, all of the above can only be seen under a strong light and are completely non-audible. I have, of course, play tested this through both sides and I was simply blown away by the perfect audio. My regulars know I never hype my items and infact always undergrade or grade as cautiously as possible all my items. This plays with no lessening in sound quality whatsoever. I did not hear a single crackle or surface noise of any kind through both sides. The entries and breaks are perfect and silent. There is no reduction in sound quality due to wear, with the audio being strong and clear and playing with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever. I would go as far as to say that you can not find this, in regards to audio, in any better condition and that the audio is mint.
Graded at Near Mint, down-graded because its been played a few times, audio as good as it gets or your money back, simple as that.
