Description
This is a lot of two radio transcription discs featuring partial portions of four radio programs.
Four partial radio programs on these two 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm discs. These discs were issued to radio stations by The Armed Forces Radio & Television Service for broadcast only and not available to the general public
Groucho Marx #348 part 2 of 2: the first contestant is a person known as "Slim" who has 21 rescue dogs. The secret word is unknown as it would have been announced in part 1. Approximately 12 minutes of a 25 minute show
Howard Barlow Presents #263 part 2 of 2: I believe this is a rebroadcast of "The Voice Of Firestone" with guest Blanche Thebom, Harvey Shapiro (cellist), Oscar Shamsky (violinist). Songs include "My Heart At Thy Sweet Voice" vocal Blance Thebom, "Do You Recall" featuring Harvey Shapiro (cello), Oscar Shamsky (violin), "Blue Birds", "Melody Of Love". It is noted that the last three songs were composed by Idabelle Firestone. Approximately 17 minutes of a 30 minute show
Groucho Marx #363 part 1 of 2: the secret word is "arm". The first contestant is named Sue Loveless. Approximately 11 minutes of a 25 minute show

Discs are in Excellent condition with Excellent sound, beautiful discs!Please note that most standard turntables will not play 16 inch radio transcriptions. For $10 I can make CD copies of all 4 programs for the buyer only
