USA - PARAMOUNT RECORDS
SCARCE Original 1970 first pressing by this obscure hairy crew from Scotland strangely named HATE, in the old unipack gatefold cover and on the old Paramount label who hosted the likes of MAY BLITZ and others...
This dark, sinister and sometimes psychedelic music resembled a combination of early Procol Harum, Bodkin and Atomic Rooster-like Hammond organ sounds; tasty guitar leads and emotional, Spooky Tooth-like vocals, all with melodic touches but plenty of originality that gets collector interest...as a result sparce copies have all but dried up... Especially hard to find with a clean cover (like this) as it did not wear well...here, a clean "survivor". The unipack gatefold cover and the record are in EX+ condition.
