not having specialist knowledge myself, I have graded as honestly as I can to the British Record Collectors Grading System, shown at end of listing

record is MINT condition -  this particular record has never been played. I didnt own a record player when it was bought. I only got it as was an avid Hawkwind nut and already had the previous albums. As time went by, I 'progressed' if thats the right word, to cassettes so this album was never used. By the time I got a new record deck it had been boxed up with many others and was presumed lost until recently.

The photos show condition of the record as best as I can. I have used a dedicated Macro lens to show extreme closeup ofthe spindle hole, which still has tiny plastic residue present from when the hole was cut, manufactured. This, of course, soon breaks away with use.

The inner sleeve and poster are long gone, unfortunately. They were used to adorn my walls in the 70's.

sleeve, rated   EXCELLENT +, NEAR MINT, has no tears or creases and shows a tiny amount of storage wear on the spine and the bottom - shown in closeup photos..

all my other records for sale have been played and tested by me. However, as this is UNPLAYED then I am not going to test it. I can only describe visually with help of photos and the fact that I know its history.

I am having a clearout of various albums/singles.

All are part of my own collection and have been stored in the attic for the past 25 years, unplayed and untouched. Having finally rediscovered the records, which we originally though had been lost when we moved house, I am having a sort out and will be listing several 70's and 80's classic rock albums.

All my records have been very well looked after and are the originals from the 70's. they have luckily been stored in dry conditions and in upright position.

I am not a professional record dealer, simply used to be a avid fan of various groups and built up a collection which is too big for me to store or use any longer.

All records have been played before listing and any faults will be honestly described to the best of my ability. just dont expect any 'techie' descriptions!

all photos shown are of actual record and any sleeves etc included with it.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

all records will be mailed in stiffened record postal packages with full protection from rigours of the Royal Mail.
