Hall of the Mountain Grill
One of the earliest space rock groups, Hawkwind have played a variety of musical styles including hard rock, progressive rock and psychedelic rock. They are also regarded as an influential proto-punk band. Their lyrics favour urban and science fiction themes and this album showcases this. Called the band's “best studio album” and “the quintessential guitar-oriented space rock record”, Hall of the Mountain Grill was released in 1974 with a pre- Motörhead Lemmy shining on guitar and vocals.

This copy of Hall of the Mountain Grill is the original Australian United Artist Records issue. Both cover and vinyl are in VG+ to Excellent condition. Please check the pictures as these form part of the description.
I will be listing a number of records over the coming weeks. These are from a private collection that has been in storage for a number of years. The images used in the listings will always be the actual records for sale, stock images will not be used. Please note I will do my best to grade the condition of these records but I am not a professional grader. If anything, the gradings will be conservative. All LPs will be test played but only major defects will be reported.
I am happy to combine postage if you are interested in more than one record. The record will be packed carefully to ensure it arrives safely which may mean postage is a little higher but I will only charge you the postage I pay. Local pick up will be from the Highett area, about5 minutes from Southland Shopping Centre. Overseas buyers please note postage is based on weight and distance, which can make buying from Australia quite expensive.
