HAWKWIND IN SEARCH OF SPACE

Matrix : UAG 29202 A-1U / B-1U
This 1971 UK 1st press is on the original cream United Artists label. It is complete with the earliest A-1U//B-1U matrix, the original plain inner sleeve and trifold die-cut gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. The vinyl is glossy and bright and the grooves show no sign of heavy play. There are a few very light wispy marks on both sides. The labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Very Good. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is some light noise in places but it still has Excellent clarity and separation, the original warm complete sound.
The 1st press tri-gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is exceptionally bold, the picture is sharp and the colours are vivid. The opening edge has one fold on the bottom but it is still exceptionally firm.The edges are solid and the inside is like new. The whole gatefold is firm and the spine has clear, sharp text.
