I am selling some cool records. Here's a fantastic HAWKWIND LP, ATCO SD 36-115, which has achieved a cult status among psych, space, and prog rock lovers. It's Lemmy's last LP with the band, and it's a trip. This LP was the first time they recorded an LP without playing the music live beforehand, and in fact when they went to record the LP, they basically had nothing to start with. In six days they had completed this wonderful LP, and then because of a lot of internal band issues, Lemmy left to form Motorhead. This LP was pressed in 1975, and is the 4th US pressing. This pressing includes the beautifully printed original inner. The pressing was likely just a few months after the first pressing. This copy has a MINT COVER that is still in shrink with gorgeous colors, perfect seams and spine-- But just the smallest of corner dings on the 2 bottom corners. Each of which are about 1/8". The ORIGINAL INNER is beautiful, and has the typical inner bends of the paper. The side that was facing the opening has brown foxing (browning), maybe from sunlight? THE LABELS are nice, they do not show spindle marks, and are clean. The VINYL looks beautiful, but does have a couple light fingerprints on side 1. THE VINYL PLAYS EX+.
