*HAWKWIND* SPACE RITUAL - 1973 UK 2LP+*TOUR PROGRAMME*
Description
HAWKWIND :- Space Ritual - Original 1973 UK United Artists UAD 60037 / 38 2LP with Six Leaf Open Out Sleeve
Complete with the Two Original Cosmic Liner Sleeves
This great condition Original Issue also comes with an Original 1973 UK Fold Out Space Ritual Tour Programme
Hawkwind: Bob Calvert, Dave Brock (vocals, guitar); Nik Turner (saxophone, flute, background vocals); Lemmy (bass, background vocals); Simon King (drums), Del Dettmar (synthesizer); DikMik (programming).Recorded in London and Liverpool, England.Featuring Hawkwind's classic lineup, which included vocalist/guitarist (and band constant) Dave Brock and bassist/occasional vocalist Lemmy (soon to depart and form Motorhead), 1973's SPACE RITUAL is monolithic in stature and stands as the group's most impressive live (if not overall) recording. Although the ensemble often garnered comparisons to Pink Floyd, Hawkwind was far more aggressive than Waters, Gilmour, and company, charging through a potent, freeform set of cosmic freakouts (the trippy "Earth Calling") and rumbling metal ("Lord of Light" sounds like Black Sabbath in lunar orbit). While the entire outing is stellar, the British space-rock group really hits a stride during the epic "Orgone Accumulator," which settles into a deep, acid groove. Although the spoken-word segments (most notably a recitation of sci-fi/fantasy author Michael Moorcock's "Black Corridor" by vocalist/poet Bob Calvert) might not suit everyone, SPACE RITUAL endures as both a document of its era and one of Hawkwind's finest releases.
The discs have light use only ..... No real marks as such , just a couple of very faint surface traces evident beneath a light ...... No label wear , hardly any spindle trace : Easily Graded at EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve has very light use only .... Beautifully bright , crisp and clean .......... No edge or spine wear : Easily Graded at EXCELLENT condition.
The Two Liner Sleeves have very little use .... Bright , crisp and clean .... No splits etc : EXCELLENT condition.
The Open Out Tour Programme has light wear .... Bright and clean - just a bit of sellotape residue at top left hand corner : Near EXCELLENT

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding
All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system
Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised
I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition
I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions
I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)
I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount are from repeat buyers ( many thanks !) .... and in the event of genuine complaints will remedy the situation as soon as possible
